Nissan Introduces NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network to Simplify EV Charging

Oct 23, 2024

Nissan is making electric vehicle (EV) charging easier with the launch of the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network. The new network enables drivers of the Nissan Ariya and future Nissan EVs to conveniently locate charging stations, check real-time charging availability, and pay for charging directly through the MyNISSAN app, providing a seamless customer experience.

The NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network includes over 90,000 charging stations across the United States. Charging partners include Electrify America, the network with the most public fast charging stations in the country, as well as Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, and EVgo networks.

By the end of this year, Nissan Ariya drivers will also be able to use a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter, allowing them to charge their vehicles at Tesla Supercharger locations.

EVs are a key element of Nissan's strategy for a more sustainable mobility future. As part of its "The Arc" mid-term business plan, Nissan aims to launch 16 new electric models globally by the end of the 2026 fiscal year.
