In July, BMW surpassed Tesla in electric car sales in Europe, according to data from Jato Dynamics.

BMW sold 14,869 electric vehicles across Europe in July, marking a 35% increase compared to the same period last year. In contrast, Tesla's sales fell by 16% during the same month, totaling 14,561 units.

Volkswagen ranked third, with 12,213 electric cars sold in July.

However, looking at the annual sales figures, Tesla remains the leader with 178,700 electric cars sold so far this year. BMW holds second place with 97,525 units, followed by Volkswagen in third with 88,445 electric vehicles sold.
