The Cybertruck finally got a fully automatic driving feature
Oct 7, 2024
Tesla's Cybertruck has taken a significant step forward. Fully Automatic Driving (FSD) technology has officially been added to the EV, albeit in supervised mode.
Tesla's FSD program, which still requires human supervision, allows the Cybertruck to navigate highways, city streets and parking lots with minimal driver intervention. With FSD, the car can change lanes, stop at traffic lights and manage complex maneuvers, offering drivers an almost fully automated experience.
The addition of FSD is an important part of Tesla's mission to make fully automated driving a reality. Although the technology is not yet at the level where the driver can completely disable the system, the surveillance mode is an important step towards this goal. As part of the Beta program, Cybertruck owners should closely monitor the driving process and re-control the system as needed as it continues to learn and evolve.
Tesla continues to update and improve FSD technology, bringing it even closer to a fully autonomous driving experience.
