Oct 7, 2024
Li Auto and other Chinese electric car makers experienced a rise in their share prices in September, driven by significant growth in deliveries, which reflects growing consumer demand and confidence in the country's EV market.
Li Auto sold more than 40,000 vehicles in September, marking a record for the company and an increase of over 30% compared to the same period last year.
Other Chinese EV companies, such as NIO and Xpeng, also posted positive results in September. NIO's sales exceeded 20,000 units, while Xpeng's sales surpassed 15,000 units. The overall strength of China's EV market is attributed to both government support for green technologies and increased consumer interest in electric and hybrid vehicles.
The strong September results highlight the robust demand for green vehicles in China, helping the country reduce emissions and strengthen its position as a global leader in the EV industry.
