According to the study, in the first quarter of 2024, compared to the same period in 2023, sales increased by about 25%. 

"In 2023, the majority of electric car sales came from China, Europe, and the United States. While the market share of electric cars in developing economies is relatively low, a number of factors point to their potential for further growth," - the study said.
