On July 19, the Changan Nevo E07 electric SUV officially rolled off the production line at the Changan Digital Factory. This new model is expected to start at around 300,000 yuan (approximately 41,300 USD) and is set to launch in October. Pre-orders have been open since the 2024 Beijing Auto Show in April, where it was introduced as Qiyuan in the Chinese market.

The Nevo E07 is built on Changan’s SDA platform and features an all-aluminum alloy chassis. It offers versatility with both SUV and pickup truck modes. The vehicle measures 5045 mm in length, 1996 mm in width, and varies in height from 1640 to 1695 mm, depending on the configuration. It has a wheelbase of 3120 mm, a five-seater layout, a curb weight of 2278 kg, a maximum ground clearance of 227 mm, and a wading depth of 600 mm.

The SUV is equipped with 20-inch or 21-inch rims and comes in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive options. The two-wheel drive model features a 252 kW (338 hp) electric motor, while the four-wheel drive version includes 188/252 kW (252/338 hp) motors for the front and rear axles, along with a ternary lithium battery pack. The four-wheel drive variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and has a top speed of 210 km/h. However, detailed information about the cruising range and other powertrain parameters has not yet been disclosed.

In terms of safety, the Nevo E07 is the first to feature Changan’s proprietary intelligent driving assistance system, which utilizes 11 cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and two lidars.

The rear cabin offers a load capacity of 300 kg. With the rear seats folded and the electric flat-fold tailgate closed, the available space expands to 1667 mm in length and 1028 mm in width, accommodating an adult up to 186.5 cm tall. When the tailgate is open, the space extends to 2880 mm in length and 1550 mm in width.

Inside, the Nevo E07 is equipped with dual zero-gravity seats in the front row, featuring multiple electric adjustment options. The cockpit includes a 15.4-inch central control screen, a ceiling entertainment screen, an AR-HUD, an 18-speaker audio system, and 256-color ambient lighting.
