Hyundai's Most Affordable EV, the Casper Electric, Breaks Sales Records

Hyundai's most affordable electric car is now available in Korea, with the new Premium version of the Casper Electric already on sale.
Since opening pre-orders for the compact electric SUV in July, the Casper Electric has been a major success. According to Yonhap News, the Casper Electric secured 8,000 orders within the first two weeks. In its first month of full sales, the Casper Electric became Hyundai's best-selling electric car in Korea.
The Casper Electric accounted for 1,439 out of Hyundai's total 3,676 EVs sold in August. The IONIQ 5 (1,222), IONIQ 6 (405), and Kona Electric followed behind the Casper Electric in sales. In September, the Casper Electric continued to dominate, becoming the best-selling electric car in Korea with 2,075 units sold.
The Casper Electric Premium is equipped with a 42-kilowatt-hour NCM battery, providing ample driving range.
According to a Hyundai representative, the new Casper Electric will be the "optimal choice" for buyers.
