Oct 31, 2024
Cadillac has introduced its first fully electric V-Series SUV – the 2026 LYRIQ-V, marking a significant milestone in the brand's electrification journey.
This high-performance electric SUV is set to debut in early 2025, carrying forward Cadillac’s prestigious V-Series legacy, which has represented the brand’s high-performance models for the past two decades.
"The LYRIQ-V is a powerful expression of the luxury, performance, and innovation at the heart of Cadillac," said John Roth, Cadillac’s Global Vice President. "It’s an important new addition to our lineup."
Although full specifications are yet to be disclosed, the LYRIQ-V is expected to outperform the 2025 dual-motor AWD LYRIQ, which currently delivers around 515 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. This performance-focused model also boasts a distinctive design.
Cadillac’s EV sales continue to climb, with LYRIQ deliveries projected to exceed 7,200 units in the third quarter of 2024, marking a 139% increase year-over-year. By the end of September 2024, Cadillac had sold over 20,300 LYRIQs in the U.S. The 2026 LYRIQ-V will be available in both left- and right-hand drive options, with initial markets including the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional markets will be announced at launch.
